CranioCatch Biannual Report – 2024/2 Summary

In the first half of 2024, CranioCatch achieved significant national and international milestones. The company participated in the APS Project Acceleration Program, supported by the EU and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, positioning itself among the top 5 startups with export support. It became one of the first Turkish startups to join Google’s “AI First” initiative in the MENA region.

CranioCatch won 1st place in the Webtures Digital Angel Investor Club, securing ₺300,000 worth of digital marketing support. The company gained attention in 2024’s global dental industry trends through its innovations in AI-powered image analysis. A pilot project supported by the Turkish Ministry of Health continues to expand nationally.

An AI-based trilateral cooperation agreement was signed with Tashkent State Dental Institute (Uzbekistan), Eskişehir Osmangazi University, and Eskişehir University Faculty of Dentistry. Steps have been initiated to establish a 100% CranioCatch-owned company in the United States.

There have been changes in the shareholding structure: Co-founder Ahmet Faruk Aslan transferred his shares to Ahmet Avcıoğlu, and other partial share transfers occurred. The investment process with Thakamed has been finalized, with $300,000 USD transferred and 20% equity ownership assigned. The legal process regarding the remaining 6% is ongoing.
