Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gaye Sezgin Keser completed high school at the Vehbi Koç Foundation Koç School and received a degree in dentistry from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. Doctoral studies at the same faculty's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology were completed in 2016 with a thesis on the evaluation of periapical lesions using panoramic radiography and cone-beam computed tomography. After working in the department as a research assistant from 2012 to 2020, Dr. Keser was appointed Assistant Professor there in 2020, received the title of Associate Professor in 2021 and continues to serve in the department. Main areas of work include diagnostic dental radiology, ultrasonographic imaging, oral cancers, and the early diagnosis and neuro-immunological mechanisms of mucosal lesions. Focusing in particular on artificial intelligence and deep learning applications in dental image analysis, Dr. Keser takes part as principal investigator and researcher in projects supported by TÜBİTAK and universities. Dr. Keser is married and a mother of two.
