Prof. Dr. Halenur Altan

Born in Isparta in 1984, she graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry in 2009 and began her doctorate the same year at Selçuk University, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, presenting her thesis on the effects of different accelerators on the setting time and physico-chemical properties of mineral trioxide aggregate in 2013. She served as the founding head of the Pediatric Dentistry department at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Dentistry. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2019 and was subsequently appointed Professor. She currently serves as department head and faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and contributes her expertise in dental age estimation methods in children to CranioCatch's AI-focused pediatric dentistry projects as a scientific advisor.
