Dr. Alican Kuran graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 2021 and completed his specialisation in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in May 2025. Continuing his academic work as an Assistant Professor at Kocaeli University Faculty of Dentistry, he is simultaneously pursuing a doctorate in Medical Biology. Focusing on artificial intelligence applications in dentistry since his residency, Dr. Kuran has published articles in high-impact international journals on the analysis of dentomaxillofacial images with deep learning methods, automatic detection, classification and segmentation. He also develops clinical solutions by integrating artificial intelligence with omics technologies such as radiomics and proteomics, and provides applied training in this field.
